Drawing A Demonic Head Sketch Quite Quickly

Here I am drawing in this video a quick head sketch of a demons head and so the idea behind these types of videos is to draw something that is quick and still looks like a good drawing, even though it has been drawn quicker than normal, fast sketching is something that has become a good technique for artists as they try to sketch out there ideas before they either forget or lose the creative momentum for some reason.

Sketching out new ideas in bulk is an excellent idea to do as you can create lots of sketches, designs, sketch notes and other types of quick draft work this way, the demon head sketch I began in the video below was originally going to be a skull, but at the first few seconds my pencil and my drawing hand had other ideas, and that's pretty much the way you should do these types of quick sketching methods, don't try to force your ideas, just let them flow.

Watch the video!

How To Draw Your Scary Demon Momma Video

This one I had a little fun with, just to draw your scary momma as a demon, the video is short like most of my drawing videos, but I do want to carry on with creating these little instructional drawing videos, even the ones that aren't instructional where I just show a drawing in progress or a finished drawing is still just as inspiring to look at.

I wonder if there are things that anyone would like me to draw in these videos and whether you want me to create some videos based on your requests, I am looking at creating new videos every Sunday of each week, so you can subscribe, comment or request a video from me on my youtube account.

Anyway, here's how to draw your scary demon momma!

Fire Demon T-shirt Design

Going through my zazzle store lately I can feel a breath of fresh air as I go through now and create more and more products from my existing drawings, designs and photographs as I re-size them and alter them through Gimp or some other computer program.

This demon design I've just made the image larger, so that it would look alot better on the zazzle range of t-shirts, of course on zazzle you can play around with adding text and fonts to your designs which is a great touch which I'll be doing more and more of over the next few months.

I drew this design whilst I was in hospital with my daughter and I inked and started to colour it with crayola pencils, it was one of them drawings that I may have had tried to draw a few other times before, but it turned out well I think, so I am just going through gimp at the moment and I might do an updated colour version of this demon design, to see what I can do.

Maybe you know someone who will like these demon styled t-shirts!

Ladies Shadow Demon Spaghetti Top

I've just re-sized this demon design for a range of t-shirts on my zazzle store gallery and published a couple last night, this is a ladies spaghetti top with the design printed on it.

Expect more of these t-shirts to be on sale soon!

Demon Inspired Graphic Novel

For years now, I've been obsessed with writing and drawing my own graphic novels and never quite getting there in completing them, but on this occasion I can see my first graphic novel out in the new year 2010 and it will be a demon horror graphic novel about a struggle for demon power and the apocalypse.

I've always been inspired by demon art no matter where in the world it was created and so I was really excited at getting together a story and some demon concept designs to bring forward a story that I've had in my mind for many years.

Here is a video showing one demon concept drawing that was my guide for at least 5 of the main characters.

Digital Demonic Monster Print

Another demonic drawing given the makeover with the free computer software Gimp and what I like about the software is that I can continually add to every drawing that I do whilst I'm learning about the processes through trial and error, this demon monster drawing was no different, I drew it in pencil and inked around the lines and then shaded it slightly, then uploaded it to my computer pogram and away I went!!

Now when trying to figure the Gimp software out I am trying to learn all about filters and layers, so that I could add some depth to my artworks and so I'll update this post further with updates to this drawing done using with Gimp.

Beware The Werebear Poster Print

Couldn't resist the opportunity to link to a fantastic art poster print that I didn't create for a change, artist Chris wahl creates and colours most of his artwork through photoshop and this piece certainly stood out and caught my eye, the werebears face looking really evils and blood and spit dribbling down....excellent!!

New Demon Poster Print - Variation Of An Old Demonic Art Design

Here I have re designed one of my old demon drawings and given it the Gimp Treatment and I've got to say it looks far better than the original I did with a Bic biro pen last year.

Demon Fantasy Art Poster Print

A demon fantasy art poster print that I've been working on, although it isn't the ultimate final version, it just shows the idea of what I intended and plus I'm sure someone has done this kind of drawing before with fire on one side of a demons face, but hey!

Demon Worm Drawing

It's quite amazing to think that worms can be demonic, but yes they can with a little bit of tweaking here and there with huge spiky teeth, this was a quick sketch that would have been a tattoo, but I felt it needed a bit better colour to be a tattoo so I archived it and am working on giving it some funky colours and will release it as a variation.

Evil demonic worms are all the rage these days!

Demonic Art Head Button

As a rule I always try and draw as many demonic heads and faces as I can, because there are as many possibilities and this was yet another felt tip demonic effort.

One of the best things about drawing demons is that they can look different everytime.

Quick Look At A Demon Tattoo Drawing In Progress

Here is a quick video looking at one of my latest demon tattoo drawings, as you'll see in the video, the drawing only has the basic linework which will have to be simplified if sold to a tattooist, although they coulddo that themselves it sure would save them time, so I'll do that later with my lightbox and simplify the design and not have too much detail that's currently going on there.

I will more than likely do another video which shows what it will look like when colour is added to the design, but until then have a look at this short video.

Note - There will be some tutorial stuff coming up soon, with videos and some more articles, so stay tuned!

Demon Worm Art Drawing On A Magnet

This is a tattoo design, taken from my tattoo archives and separated from the others on that flash sheet, I created lots of versions of this type of drawing of a demonic type worm and the different variations look quite good all on the same sheets, once I get an A3 scanner I could show you all the full flash sheets I designed about 4 years ago.

Evil Demon Art Print

Many of my demon art drawings are fairly straight forward and drawn in pencil and inked with fine ink roller pens, but lately I have gotten back into using sharpie markers for some strong and vibrant colours, but on this occasion you can see my old style has come back with pencil shading over an inked drawing of yet another demons head.

I'm going to do a post on drawing a demons head and the steps you need to take to get a good demonic creature head drawn on paper, if this is something you would find interesting and useful then please comment and say so below!

Flaming Demonic Skull Square Magnet

This is another demonic skull drawing I did a long time ago, when I was happily into the felt tip drawing phase and I would colour stuff in quite quickly, so that it would hopefully produce a design with a bit of energy and movement if at all possible.

I draw lots of demonic skulls even today, but I try to do lots of variations of them now and try to make them more interesting.

Demonic Head Sketching Video

Every day I draw new stuff, some good, some bad and some really quick sketches and this video shows a really quick sketch of a demons head, I draw and design demons alot and find drawing demons quite relaxing.

Coming up soon, I will be going through series of videos that walk and talk you through drawing demons and other monsters too, which will be fun as I draw every day and this will get me used to drawing and teaching, something that has interested me lately.

Here's the quick demon drawing video!

Demonic Tattoo Art Print Design On Zazzle

I did this demon tattoo like design as a response to a small article I did over on hubpages on how to draw a demonic tattoo, although it's not perfect by any means, so I may have to draw and design some more and get a feel for the tribal aspects of tattoo design, but I gave it a shot, just to see!

New Demon Creature Art Print

This demon art print was a drawing I did for one of my drawing tutorials and it was drawn with pen and ink and shaded in pencil and I particularly enjoyed drawing it as demons are quite nice to draw anyway.

Drawing A Scary Demons Head

In the following video and links to 3 more videos I go through a quick drawing tutorial of drawing a demons head and this is a great exercise in drawing from scratch when you are considering any types of drawing, as it needs to be built up from an intitial idea that is a loose sketch and then this draft drawing is developed through a series of drawing steps to whatever the end result shall be.

The four steps covered are:

Drafting the first sketch from a set of demon head quick sketch ideas I did previously(see the first video below!)

Working on that sketch to add dark and light values.

Start inking the drawing.

Finish the inks and clean up the art.

Here is the first video:-

The Tree Demon Print Drawing

Another of my original fantasy tree drawings of a demonic tree as a poster print, it's funny that I seem to draw demons all of the time and other types of fantasy art.

As I photograph trees alot I thought it would be a good idea to try and draw some fantasy inspired trees.

Demonic Creature Drawing As A Poster Print

This demon creature drawing is one of my favourites that I only recently found in my sketchbook and by my reckoning it is about 7 years old, so I shaded it and uploaded the design on my Zazzle gallery, I always remember when I drew it that the beard would make the demon look slightly comical, but it doesn't!

Demonic Biro Art Print

Drawing demonic drawings with a biro is another of my favourite ways beside pencils.

Demon Head Drawing Button

This demon head drawing I drew as part of my drawing demons tutorial over on hubpages and it began a chain of events that led me to create a series of blogs and articles about drawing and being inspired with drawing fantasy art and this to me I believe is my true calling...well that and writing and drawing my own comic books and actually publishing them online or in proper printed book format.

Evil Demonic Art Magnet Drawn With Felt Tips

This demonic art drawing was created as a tattoo idea and drawn and colored with cheapo felt tips just to give a rough indication of the exact colors and the design sort of fits a shoulder tattoo design.

Over at Zazzle The Demonic Art Magnets is an ever growing category that will feature many demonic art designs in time I will expand on this section of my Zazzle Gallery and this will be the strongest selling products as I will sell them in limited numbers in the future and then replace with new designs over the old ones that sell out.

Demonic Art Face Magnet

Another demonic art design, again a head drawing inked and shaded as my initial trademark of current artwork goes and this time printed on a magnet. At Zazzle if you are going to buy a product you can usually customize the product somewhat to suit your preferences.

This was a recent drawing I did but originally I started with the intention of drawing a werewolfs head, but the demons had their own ideas!

Excruciating Macresco - A Demonic Horror Poster Print

This was a requested piece of art that would be used for a band called Excruciating Macresco, it is a demonic drawing created with color pencils, with my usual brand of firey colors with the reds and the yellows.

I really do like to draw the tentacles coming out of demonic mouths a bit too much these days.

Monster Demon Art Stickers

This demonic monster head drawing I drew quite awhile ago now and I only got around to adding this the other week on my Zazzle gallery, this is the busy nature of drawing these demons and monsters. I have loads more demonic art sketches in my sketchbooks and they just need finishing and then I'll add them too to my Zazzle Gallery.
